   I bought my Sony Vaio 9 months ago with an extended warranty. It worked well for 6 months until one day the speakers completely died on me.
   I have spent the next 3 months trying to get Sony to repair the laptop for me. I spent the first month just on the phone, trying to convince tech support that my computer had had a hard drive failure. Over the next month-and-a-half they had three appointments where they sent people over to repair my computer. The first time they replaced the speakers, the second time they replaced the motherboard and the third time they replaced the sound card. All three attempts were unsuccessful; the sound still did not work.
   My computer is now at a repair center. I have no computer (I had to borrow someone else’s computer to write this review).
   This is my experience with Sony Vaio. Maybe you’ll have a better one. Who knows?

   I bought this notebook before the holiday season and I am very happy with this laptop. I haven’t had any trouble with software or hardware. The specs in this machine are awesome. The Nvidia 425 video card is gorgeous, making gaming an amazing experience. Start and shutdown are fast and responsive. RAM and HDD are excellent for this price point. The chicklet keyboad is nice and the backlight is really cool. There is an issue with auto screen bightnes, but search online for a fix. The only downside is the screen size it could be larger for a gaming notebook.

   This has been to best laptop in the world to me.It has taken anything iv thrown at it and it plays world of warcraft with 60fps plus call of duty black ops with no problem eather and all other games iv thrown at it.Every once in a while il watch movies with is hooked to my tv.The 16.4in display is absolutly beautiful.Altho the touch pad is none responsive at times but that only minor and i really cant say anything bad about this laptop ps it does run kinda hot when useing it to its max capacity.
