If their level is yellow, the points will be about average and if their level is green, the reward is low experience points. Try to avoid killing gray level enemies, as they do not give experience at all.
Leave your character in a home area when you are not playing to help with leveling for World of Warcraft. You do not need to be able to implement elaborate plans to get your experience as high as possible quickly.
