World of Warcraft Raid Guide – What I’ve Learned From a Raid Guide in WoW

When you start thinking about a World of Warcraft raid guide it usually means that you need one. After making several characters and getting the best gear for them, I decided to make my own guild because every guild in which I’ve been there was something I didn’t like and something that wasn’t right. Only problem is that when you make your own guild, you have to be able to run raids, and a lot of them.

Making a guild and getting people to join isn’t the hardest thing in the game. The only problem is that everyone who joins your guild expects you to run raids and be successful at them. Even though I went to loads of raids, when I tried to run my first one I failed miserably. It’s funny how different it is to just be another member in the group and how it is when you are the leader. Even though I attended so many raids, just staying back, taking orders and such, made me think that I knew what tactic to use in a specific instance. When I tried leading my own raid, everything seemed different, somehow. After being laughed at by everyone because we didn’t even kill one boss, I started searching for a World of Warcraft raid guide thinking it could help. After going through some websites that had some incomplete guides, I finally got one that had every raid I needed. Here is what I’ve learned from the World of Warcraft raid guide I used:

1. Running a raid is like an exact science. Each encounter has one, maybe two ways in which it can be done. There is no other way, no improvising. If you want to kill a boss in an instance, you need to know EXACTLY how to do it.

2. Always tell people what to do. Never assume that your fellow members know what to do. Even the most smallest thing, if it’s important for someone to do it, let him know that, even if it is obvious.

3. A good raid guide will tell you everything you need to know about an encounter, how to start him off, where to place your raid, how to counter the more dangerous spells, any special tactics you will need and so on. You don’t have to, you shouldn’t have to do anything different. If the guide tells you to split the raid in two, then do so, don’t think that if you stick together it will be faster. There is surely a reason to why you are being told to split the raid in two.

As you can see, the raid guide I used didn’t just teach me how to complete encounters, it also told me how to run a raid. It taught me that you have to be direct and firm in your decisions. If you are unsure or you hesitate, people will sniff you out and label you as too weak to lead. If you want to lead raids but don’t think you have it in you, try learning everything there is to know about raid tactics and strategies with the help of a World of Warcraft raid guide.

In order to gain the knowledge to lead a raid flawlessly, you need to get a high quality guide with precised and detailed information.
