A Great Source For Making Gold in World of Warcraft

It’s the golden rule all over again. Whoever has the gold makes the rules, right? This is even MORE true in Warcraft than it is in the real world. There are a lot of strategies for making gold, but who wants to spend all their time working on making gold, right? There are Murlocs to be killed, for heaven’s sake!

So the key is to find one or two methods you can consistently use to create a steady stream of gold for yourself that don’t take up too much of your time. This is one of my favorite methods for doing this

First, you’re going to need to learn one of the key skills of gold-making in WoW: Learning to gauge need for different products. If you can figure out which items are being bought consistently on your server and find a friend that’s willing to make them for you, you can make a lot of gold pretty quickly.

So first go spend some time in the Auction House.

I usually find that high quality mid-level items sell well on most servers, especially armor. You might also ask a friend if they have any “cash cow” products they sell a lot of for a good price.

Once you’ve figured out a few good sellers, you need to find someone who can make them for you. Check with your guild, or post a “Looking for (craft skill) my mats” message in the chat section of one of the major cities. You’ll usually find someone willing to help. The trick is to build a relationship with whoever you find, so they’ll make this stuff for you later. Gather your materials either in the world or buy them at the Auction house, then get your products made. Post and price your auctions first thing every time you log in to play. I know of some people that create an alt just for the purpose of posting auctions, which is a trick you might consider as well.

Use this trick and you’ll be rolling in gold and silver before you know it.

The key is consistency.
