In World of Warcraft after two expansions, it’s quite a bit of effort to level up from level one to now level 80. When you are doing this, you will want to be sure that you are leveling as quickly as possible as you would rather be playing the high level content than spending time leveling. There are things you can do that will help you level faster in today’s version of game.
With your rest experience, one of the fastest ways of leveling is to run the random dungeons. You will be getting tons of quick experience points this way since all 5 of you are working on defeating the mobs. Run each of your characters until your rest experience is used up. Then it’s no longer the fastest way to level.
When you are done with this, questing is a quick way to level. In the last year the experience points for questing has been updated so that you get more rewards for the same quests. This will be faster than just grinding in most cases.
Use a quest guide to find the easiest quests that give the most rewards. Typically these can also alert you to other quests in the area so that you can get four or five done at a time versus just working on one.
Make sure you have your talents so that you are focusing on the damage dealing ones. Mobs will die faster meaning that you will be getting more experience points per hour of play. If you are doing more damage, you will be getting more experience points. While you might want some special talents for group play, in the earlier levels of the game these really don’t matter that much.
Take advantage of offers like the recruit of friend offer. These will help you get enhanced experience for awhile making it easier to level. This isn’t absolutely needed, but something that you can consider doing.
