Say Goodnight to Evil With a World of Warcraft Death Knight Guide

The Origin of Death Knights

According to WoW lore, Death knights were formerly the evil Liche Kings servants. However, the Argent Crusader later convinced them to fight for the side of good. They have three talent trees. This provides them with unique skills that can have devastating consequences. Evil, beware!

The Nuts and Bolts of a Death Knight

Undoubtedly, being a Death Knight provides you with the most thrilling quests in the entire World of Warcraft game. Depending on your own inclination and talent specializations (specs), you can play in either a Damage Per Second (DPS) class or tank class. Like other WoW hybrid classes, Death Knights are weaker than classes that are exclusively DPS or tank.

If you need to supplement your Death Knight power, then you need runes. Here is how players acquire and use runes in WoW:

-Earned as damage is inflicted
-Utilized to cast abilities or spells
-Runeforged to various weapons

Just as (less entertaining) occupational specializations exist in the real world, so specializations exist for the D K Talent: Blood, Frost, and Unholy.

Blood Talent Specialization

This talent specialization usually focuses more on steady rises in damage and strike damage.

One of the top benefits of this Death Knight specialization is that it returns a part of all damage that they undergoes, as health. It somewhat resembles the auras of a Paladin. The spec can also increase the attack power of the Death Knights raid party.

Frost Talent Specialization

As a World of Warcraft death knight guide will verify, the focal point of this specialization is the spending of runic power as a burst form of damage.

This talent specialization is ideal for use dual-wield (weapons that are one-hand and off-hand are held in the off-hand) as they can quickly increase their runic power. When you use the Frost Fever spell properly, the Death Knights DPS can increase tremendously!

Unholy Talent Specialization

The focus of this talent spec is the increasing of DPS through Damage over Time (DoT) and diseases that gradually reduce the enemy health. Unholy Death Knights can also provide other group members with minionsand area of effect spells. Furthermore, while using your pet ghoul, the talent boosts bonuses to your D K and increases pet damage.

The D K is not Superman

Finally, it is important to recognize various weaknesses of D K:

They can be complex to play. They need runic power and rune cool-downs to inflict damage, tank, and remain alive. They stay alive via active abilities (rather than passive defense). They are unable to tank when using a shield.

If you want to become a WoW Death Knight, then read a quality World of Warcraft death knight guide. Be a bad (meaning good) one!
