World of Warcraft Top 15 Tips – Part 2

The Following are Tips for World of Warcraft Alliance Players

Tip 6-First and foremost. If your looking to solo, get yourself a Night Elf Hunter or Warlock.

While there isn’t any one particular character that works perfectly for soloing, that is about the best that you can get on the Alliance side. There really isn’t an equal level monster that any properly tricked out Hunter can not handle one on one. Although, Warlocks are a bit more fragile, they have an excellent complement of damaging spells that allow warlocks to survive, although they do suffer more damage. The bad thing about this is that most creatures attack in groups if they notice one of their own getting pounded. Especially the Elite creatures.

This is where your pets should come in. Any Pet class can use their animal or demonic companion to do crowd control. Usually by pulling one creature at a time from a group to kill it.

Tip 7-You should know that the Gnomes have the best/worst dancing emotes.

You need to trust me on this. If you simply type/dance into the game while playing as a Gnome will show you what I mean. Gnome dancing is the worst thing you can do in Azeroth because it is known that the Horde will offer 10g to anyone who can actually kill a Gnome in PvP during the dance! But, if you want to be a role player just to annoy other players….this is good way to have a laugh.

Tip 8-Why you should be a Human Priest.

This is a great class for players looking to group. What group isn’t thrilled when a Priest shows up? The Human Priest can hold his own in combat. Especially before heading into an Elite dungeon. But, Priests are pretty rare in the game. Because, by taking on the social/support roles, not many are quite ready to be that much in demand by others. But, by being a Human Priest you will level faster.

Tip 9-Why you do not have to follow the quest lines for your own race.

One of the biggest misunderstandings that new players have about World of Warcraft is that the quests are restricted by race. In other words, that if your playing a Human, you have to take the Human quests in Elwynn Forest when starting out. That is not true. Players can take any WoW leveling appropriate uest regardless of you race. But, Alliance’s looking to level up faster, there is a short cut. Go to the Hub Cities of Ironforge or Stormwind as soon as you are strong enough to get out of level 5. Then, go to the passage to Teldrassil, the Night Elf homeland and start collecting quests.

Tip 10-The Alliance means more content but also, a whole lot more people.

The Alliance races as a whole. This can often mean severe crowding in popular regions. Especially the Mass Extinction Events. The good news is that the Alliance has a lot more quest based content that the Horde. Many Horde players often find themselves running low on quest around level 25-30 and being forced to just farm random creatures to gain more experience.

That’s it for now. Stay tuned for World of Warcraft Top 15 Tips – Part 3 The final chapter.
