World of Warcraft Twink Guide

If you don’t know what a twink is I will give a brief explanation. Twinks our people who stay at a certain level (besides whatever the capped is)  for a long period of time with no desire to level up. They get the best gear for the whatever the level is and spend time tweaking their character . Basically the person who just ran across the field with five people on him and is still at almost full health.

This guide has just a few of the tactics I use whenever I decide to make a new twink no matter which level they’re gonna be.

• Class – It’s true that certain classes our better at different levels, but don’t pick a class because their only good at a certain bracket. I suggest choosing your class based off your playstle and what you think you’re gonna have fun with. Because later on you may wanna go up to the next bracket and that class might not be as good.

• Gear – The next step after picking what class you wanna play is what kind of gear you’re gonna get. Start looking up equipment you want to use very early on so you will have it when you reach the level you’re gonna be staying at. If your not sure what you need just go on a site that has a list of gear and search by level. Also one of the things I do is go on the world of warcraft forum and check a post about the level your playing at. Look at some of the guys on it and check what their wearing.

• Experience – Now that Blizzard changed the way battlegrounds give experience this really shouldn’t be a problem. Once you reach the level you want just go to Behsten in Stormwind or Slahtz  in Orgrimmar to stop gaining experience (old school twinks will love their names and gear). What also might be fun is not turning it off and just going  through all the brackets getting the best gear and stopping whenever you want.

• Queue Often – The only way you’re gonna be any good is by actually queuing up. No matter how much time you spent working on your character and getting everything perfect it’s not gonna matter if you haven’t done any pvping.

I know twinks can be misunderstood on how people think anyone who makes one wouldn’t be able to last at maxed level, but that’s just not true.
