World of Warcraft Warriors – Why You Should Play a Warrior
Warriors are one of my favorite classes to level. They provide the fun gaming style of nonstop death-dealing combined with a decent overall leveling speed that can come in narrowly behind rogues and hunters, if done correctly. As a warrior you can also often level up just by doing dungeon runs where you are the tank (or just as DPS if you don’t like tanking). Warriors can also do very well in arena if they are teamed with the right class (druid is a good choice).
There is one slight catch however. In order to do all this (and do it well) you must be geared to the teeth at all times, and, at the very least, you must update your weaponry every 5 or 6 levels, if not more often. So, have fun dropping your cash, or gold in this case, down the black hole known as the Auction House. At the lower levels it can be hard to get a good weapon from the auction house, but do not despair, you can still get a few good weapons from the low level dungeons and quests without too much trouble.
One other very small troublesome area for warriors is healing and escaping in battle. Hunters have feign death, rogues have vanish, but with warriors you just have to kill everything and hope that you have enough HP to survive (or you can try simply running away, but often that does not work exactly as planned).
Besides those small things, Warriors can provide a fun and engaging experience to level, especially with the increase to quested experience gain – this really helps make Warrior (and any class) leveling far easier. I can tell this by the fact that I have 1 level 80 warrior 2 level 70 warriors and 1 level 60 warrior. Judging by this you can probably tell just how fun they are.
The one part that’s always confusing about leveling a warrior or any other class is knowing what exactly to do. What talent points do I get? Should I be fury, arms, or protection? What area should I do quests in? Is it faster to grind or so quests? These questions pop up quite often, and it can be hard to find good answers to them.
Probably the easiest way to keep leveling fun is to be able to level at a constant speed is to use a leveling guide. The good leveling guides offer optimized talent builds as well as easy to follow in-game instructions for leveling. By using a leveling guide you can reach level 80 in only one week, and that’s something that everyone likes.
